Ruislip forms part of the London Borough of Hillingdon, lying less than 14 miles from Charing Cross, London and the parish dates back to some of the earliest settlements in England featuring in the Domesday Book. Ruislip also boasts several local heritage sites and is embedded in beautiful, idyllic countryside, making it a perfect place to live for those who work in the city due to its convenience without compromising on the natural beauty of the surrounding area. This include the Ruislip Lido, (pictured right), which is now designated as a public parkland complete with its very own miniature railway. Ruislip was also the parliamentary constituency of our now prime minister, Boris Johnson.
